This October, SKS World School in Noida Sector 137 witnessed a heartwarming celebration as students came together to honor two great occasions which are Gandhi Jayanti and Dussehra. To commemorate the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, students participated in engaging activities that made learning about “Bapu” both fun and memorable.
- Storytelling and Role Play: Teachers narrated inspiring stories from Gandhiji’s life, followed by short skits where students dressed as Mahatma Gandhi and other freedom fighters.
- Craft Activities: Little learners made handmade spinning wheels, peace doves, and posters with messages of non-violence and unity.
- Peace Walk: A mini “Walk for Peace” around the school premises helped students reflect on Gandhi’s message of simplicity and truth.
These activities encouraged young learners to imbibe values that form the foundation of good character truthfulness, kindness, and humility.
Dussehra Festivities Add to the Excitement
At the best school in South Delhi, the celebration continued with Dussehra festivities, filling the day with color and joy.
- Thematic Performances: Students enacted scenes from the Ramayana, showcasing the victory of good over evil.

- Effigy Burning: A symbolic burning of Ravana’s effigy reminded students that no matter how strong evil appears, good always prevails.
